AMOLED panely sa tlačia do popredia !!!

Ak vám názov AMOLED nič nehovorí, tak vedzte, že ide o technológiu, pomocou ktorej je možné napríklad zostrojiť veľmi tenké LCD displeje, ktorých šírka nepresahuje 3 mm !!! Ďalším skvelým parametrom je kontrastný pomer, ktorý dosahuje hodnoty 1 000 000:1. Ak sa pýtate, ako je to s odozvou, tak vás opäť AMOLED veľmi prekvapí, pretože priemerná odozva je na úrovni 0,004 ms. Ako jedným z prvých výrobcov sa túto technológiu podarilo zužitkovať spoločnosti LG, ktorá na konferencii IFA predstavila AMOLED televízory (pozn. pozri video). Rovnaká spoločnosť prekvapila aj ďalším zaujímavým kúskom, kedy sa jej podarilo vyrobiť priesvitný displej, ktorý sa už približuje rôznym sci-fi filmom. AMOLED si určite osvojila aj ďalšia známa spoločnosť Samsung, ktorá predstavila koncept hybridného Desktop Notebooku.
