Spoločnosť Lenovo nedávno predstavila svoj hybrid medzi laptopom a tabletom s označením IdeaPad U1 Hybrid. Tento jedinečne inovatívny prístroj sa tvári ako laptop, avšak po oddelení displejovej časti ho môžete plne funkčne používať ako tablet. V tabletovom móde máme k dispozícii 1GHz procesor Snapdragon ARM podporujúci operačný systém Skylight Linux s 512 MB RAM a 16 GB Flash pamäťou. V laptopovom móde máme k dispozícii dvojjadrový Intel SU 4100 procesor podporovaný 128 GB SSD a fungujúci na operačnom systéme Microsoft Windows 7. Keďže ide o hybrid tabletu bude 11.6 palcový displej plne dotykový navrchu osadený webovou kamerou. Cena IdeaPad U1 Hybridu by sa mala pohybovať na úrovni 999,- $.
